In celebration of National Hospital Week, Marion County Medical Center will host Health After Hours on May 13th from 5:30pm-7:30pm in Classroom A & B.
The event is free and open to all and will include refreshments and tours of the facility with a focus on new technology and treatments in the following areas:
• Wound Healing Center
• Labor and Delivery & Nursery
• Telemedicine
• The Wellness Center
• Mullins Nursing Center
There are nearly 6000 hospitals in the United States, which employ over 40% of all healthcare workers. National Hospital Week is the largest healthcare event in the US and is designed to celebrate the professionals, staff and volunteers who help run these facilities as well as highlight the technology they use and services they provide.
