YOUNG JOINS MARION COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER

Marion, SC— Eric S. Young, M.D. has joined Marion County Medical Center as a General Surgeon.  His practice, Marion County Surgical Center, is now accepting patients.

Young obtained his Bachelors of Science in Biology at Wofford College and his Medical Degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.  He completed a General Surgery Residency including Research and ED work for one year at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.  

His experience includes almost 10 years of private practice in General Surgery and Endoscopy, with extensive work in advanced laparoscopic procedures.  Young is also BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certified.

During his previous position with Easley Surgical Associates, P.A., located in Easley, South Carolina, he maintained the following Hospital Affiliations:

Cannon Memorial Hospital- Full Staff Privileges General Surgery
Licensed to practice Medicine and Surgery in South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida
