The Nurses at Marion County Medical Center provide quality, therapeutic, individualized care to every patient. Our nursing staff believes that quality of life is the most important component of a person’s stay at Marion County Medical Center. They are dedicated to meeting the current and future healthcare needs of the residents of the Pee Dee area and promoting trust between nurses, patients, their family and friends, as well as the community. It is important to Marion County Medical Center to continue their advancement of nursing excellence and be committed to ongoing educational support. Who makes up the Nursing Department?
The Nursing staff, who work under the direction of the Vice President of Nursing, include: RN’s, LPN’s, CNA’s, Nursing Assistants, OR Techs, Unit Secretaries, Monitor Techs, Patient Care Sitters, Clerical Support and Specialty Nurses. The RN is responsible for the assessment and continuing reassessment of his/her assigned patients.
