Nuclear Medicine
Nuclear Medicine is the medical specialty within Diagnostic Imaging that involves the use of radioactive isotopes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases by administering a small amount of radioactive tracer into the body. Nuclear medicine evaluates both the anatomy and physiology of the body.Your physician or licensed staff will give you specific instructions on how to prepare for your exam.
